Stop the Bleed

Stop the Bleed is a national campaign "intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives."

NUEMS has brought Stop the Bleed kits to Northeastern University. These kits are available in AED units across campus. We are trained and equipped to teach proper bleeding control techniques to our community, including Northeastern students. NUEMS is proud to be a part of the movement to provide bystanders with the basic tools and information necessary to stop life threatening bleeds in emergency situations.

NUEMS is also offering free, private Stop the Bleed courses to the Northeastern community. Find out more below.
