Emily Ensslin is a 4th year nursing student from Westfield, NJ where she works as a volunteer EMT. She has been a part of NUEMS since starting at Northeastern. She currently works at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Patient Care Associate on the labor and delivery floor after completing her spring co-op there. Her hobbies include crocheting, climbing, and skiing.

Zachary Kahn is a 5th year Health Science Major from Hooksett, NH. He is on the Pre-Med track, minoring in French and Nutrition. He has been a certified EMT for just over 3 years, and primarily has experience with in-hospital patient care and clinical research. His favorite part of NUEMS is teaching CPR classes and Naloxone trainings. His hobbies include golfing, running, skiing, playing tennis, and hiking.

Kathan Ramnath is a 4th year finance-econ major with a health science minor. He's been an EMT-B since 2020 and currently works for Coastal Ambulance in the Newton EMS system. He is also in a paramedic program and should have his certification by the end of 2023. In his free time, Kathan enjoys everything outdoors including biking, running, and skiing (he is also a ski patrol recruit in MA)!

Hannah Wilcox is a fourth-year cell and molecular biology major on the pre-med tack from Seattle, WA. She received her EMT certification in the Spring of 2021 through Northeastern (and highly recommends the class) and has used that to work for Cataldo Ambulance Service and staff games through NUEMS. In her free time, Hannah enjoys hiking, reading, and doing her latest craft project of the month. 

Sarah Tong is a 4th-year cell and molecular biology major and data science minor. She is Massachusetts EMT-B certified, and this will be her 4th year as a part of NUEMS. Her first co-op was as an orthopedic medical assistant at Newton Wellesley hospital. In Sarah’s free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and snowboarding.

Samantha Lauer is a 3rd year biochemistry major on the pre-med track. She became an EMT in the spring of 2022. She has worked both on the ambulance and in an emergency department. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, and climbing.

Olivia Liu is a 3rd year biochemistry major and psychology minor on the pre-med track from Long Island, NY. This is her 3rd year in NUEMS and her favorite part of NUEMS is how it has helped her grow as an EMT through the programs and people. Some of her hobbies/interests include skiing, drawing, and learning new languages.

Mia Galante is a third-year pre-med student majoring in bioengineering and biochemistry. She has been an EMT since the summer of 2022 and has worked for Professional Ambulance since getting her certification. Mia is doing her first co-op as a Clinical Assistant in the Emergency Department of Boston Children's Hospital and has been a member of NUEMS since the fall of 2022.

Trevor MacDonald is a 4th year student from Braintree, Massachusetts pursuing a major in Cell & Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish on the Pre-PA track. He has worked as an EMT-B at Brewster since July 2021 and has completed one co-op as an Emergency Service Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Currently he is on co-op as a Clinical Assistant in the Emergency Department at Boston Children’s Hospital and works as a Lab Instructor for the EMT course at Northeastern.

Sanya Sharma is a fourth-year biochemistry major on the pre-med track from Rutherford. NJ. She received her EMT-B certification in 2019 and did her first co-op at Cataldo Ambulance Service. Her second co-op was at Bristol Myers Squibb in the Chemical Proteomics department. In her free time, Sanya is the captain of an on-campus dance team and loves to cook.

Lulu Largier is a fifth-year student majoring in cell and molecular biology and minoring in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. She is from Berkeley, CA and has been an EMT for two years. Lulu currently works as an Emergency Room Technician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Fun fact about Lulu is that she makes her own kombucha!

Catherine Delano is a fourth-year biochemistry major on the pre-PA track from Westchester, NY. Her favorite part of NUEMS is the opportunity to staff the hockey and basketball games, and she is most interested in emergency medicine. Outside of NUEMS, Catherine enjoys biking, go-kart racing, and rock climbing.  

Rishi Kudaravalli is a 4th year behavioral neuroscience major on the pre-med track. She is from Long Island, NY where she got her EMT-B in 2021. Rishi currently works at Boston Children’s Hospital as a clinical assistant in the NICU. In her free time, she likes to hike, paint and thrift.

Suma Panamgipalli is a third-year health science major on the pre-med track. She is from Hillsborough, New Jersey and has been an EMT for three years. She has been part of NUEMS since her freshman year. She currently works at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a patient care associate. In her free time, she enjoys photography, going on walks, and exploring.

Cheyenne Chin is a 3rd year student from Rhode Island, pursuing a major in Cell and Molecular Biology. She has been EMT-B certified since the Summer of 2022 and has been in NUEMS since her first year at Northeastern. She has been practicing her clinical skills as an Emergency Service Assistant at the Brigham and Women's Emergency Department after completing her first Co-op there.

Justin Luk is a 4th year biochemistry major from Canton, MA. This is his third year in NUEMS and he looks forward to being a Director of Education. He is currently co-oping at Pfizer in purification process development and in his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, 3D-printing, and playing the violin.

Hannah Benstock is a fourth-year nursing student from Houston, TX. She has been an EMT-B since 2021 and has been a part of NUEMS since her freshman year. Hannah currently works at Boston Children's Hospital as a Clinical Assistant in the Emergency Department. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and photography.

Vincent Priolo is a 5th year biochemistry major, pre-medical student. He applied to medical school this cycle and am hoping to attend in Fall 2024. He received his EMT certification through Northeastern and is currently an EMT-B working at Cataldo Ambulance. His other involvements on campus include being the community chair for pre-medical Phi Delta Epsilon as well as a peer mentor for AMSA club. He also volunteers at the Southampton shelter. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, golfing, hiking, and skiing!

Michael Ayoub is a 4th year biochemistry major on the pre-med track from Mansfield, MA. He has been an EMT since 2020 and has been a part of NUEMS since his first year. His favorite part of NUEMS is learning from others in the field. In his free time he enjoys weightlifting and reading.

Katya Dzekon is a 4th year biology major from San Francisco, California. She’s on the pre-med track and works as an EMT. Outside of NUEMS, she enjoys fantasizing about going to Antarctica and other delusional ideas. She likes cats. And dogs. All animals, really (except bees).

Isabelle Frieswick is a fourth-year health science major on the pre-med track. She has been a member of NUEMS since freshman year, and is currently working as a paramedic in the Greater Boston Area (Boston, Quincy, Taunton, Brockton). In her free time, she is the TA for Northeastern's EMT course and enjoys going to the gym.

Jonah Albrecht is a 4th year pre-med studying biology and political science. He has 9 months of IFT/911 experience with Brewster and has also spent 9 months as an Emergency Services Assistant in the Brigham and Women’s ED. Within NUEMS, he is a Crew Chief for event coverage, a Stop the Bleed instructor, and an AHA BLS/CPR instructor. In his free time, he loves to hike, bike, and snowboard wherever he can find a mountain.
