CPR Classes

NUEMS offers American Heart Association CPR classes not only to its members but to the entire NU community.
Please find the class schedule and registration below.

American Heart Association - CPR for Healthcare Providers
Length: approximately 4 hours long

Course Description

The BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers Course (BLS) covers core material such as adult, pediatric, and infant CPR (including one and two-rescuer scenarios and use of a bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is designed for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, and nurses, who must have a credential documenting successful completion of a CPR course, or to others, who wish to learn the most in-depth version of CPR available.

NUEMS offers CPR classes, for a nominal fee, as public service so that members of the Northeastern University community can prepared for a life or death situation. This fee covers the costs of CPR cards and equipment that NUEMS uses.
